Why Do They Support Gateway To The Americas Cup?
The passion that Deborah and Gus bring to this project is infectious – it makes you want to get involved. And design is vital to helping real brick & mortar florists differentiate from the grocery stores and drop shippers that harm the industry we all love.
FloristWare first became associated with Gateway when asked to provide their floral design competition scoring software. Gus and Deborah had seen this software in use at the Great Lakes Floral & Event Expo and recognized it would help the make organizing the competition easier. FloristWare was honored to be asked and happy to help out.
Since then that same software has been used at many other competitions including the Sylvia Cup, Arkansas Cup and Mid-America Cup. In 2024 it was chosen for use in the AIFD Student Design Competition and also to serve as the foundation of a new and improved scoring system for PFDE exam.
