Bio
Omy Torres Luciano was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico on July 29, 1981. He holds Bachelor's degrees in Drama and Graphic Arts with a specialization in Advertising Design. Additionally, he is certified as a Wedding & Event Planner from the Ibero-American Institute (INIBEP) and as a life and transformational coach from ATC in Bogota, Colombia.
From a young age, he was fascinated by flowers and events, inspired by his grandmother's expertise in floristry. At 19, he began organizing events and now owns Luciano Designer PR, offering consulting services for entrepreneurs, education through the Luciano Floral Bootcamp program, and event decoration and design.
This is her first experience in a floral competition.
What Is Your Approach To Design?
As a floral designer, my design approach focuses on creativity, attention to detail, and artistic expression through flowers and natural elements, both in individual arrangements and event decor. I aim to create unique, beautiful, and meaningful floral designs that convey emotions and captivate viewers, whether for weddings, corporate events, or other celebrations. I draw inspiration from the beauty of nature, floral design trends, and experimentation with colors and textures to continue evolving in my art.
What Do You Love About Competing?
I am excited to participate in my first international floral competition. It is a unique opportunity to immerse myself in the world of floral art alongside people from different countries, sharing passion and creativity. I am eager to put my skills to the test, explore new techniques, and express my unique style through my floral designs. I hope that my creations captivate everyone and reflect my love for flowers and the beauty they convey, representing my country, Puerto Rico, with dignity.
In What Other Notable Competitions Have You Participated?
This is my first international floral competition and the first time I participate in a competition of this kind in all aspects. Although I do not have previous experience in notable floral competitions, I am excited for this opportunity to challenge myself and learn from this unique experience. I am eager to showcase my creativity and skills on an international stage and I am committed to giving my best in this competition.
