Brenna Quan

Bio

Brenna is a floral artist and educator based in Vancouver, Canada. She has shared imaginative pieces in demonstrations and floral exhibits across North America, on her social media platforms and in various floral art book compilations. An active member of the American Institute of Floral Designers, Brenna has been a presenter on the AIFD Symposium mainstage two times, a regular contributor to Florists’ Review magazine, and a guest instructor for a handful of educational video series.

As a competitor, she has earned several awards over the past ten years in various styles of competition & is so honoured to be representing Canada in this very special International competition!

What Is Your Approach To Design?

I enjoy exploring unique ways to develop my materials into an expression that draws the viewer into the design. Colour and texture are my favourite elements of my storytelling.

What Do You Love About Competing?

I love the challenge in live competition, the collective energy, the camaraderie and the excitement of creating in the moment!

In What Other Notable Competitions Have You Participated?

Some notable accolades include 1st place in the 2016 & 2019 Pacific NW Design Competitions, 1st place in the 2019 Maple Leaf Cup & the runner up in 2016’s Gateway to the Americas Cup in Vancouver.
