What Is Your Approach To Design?
My design approach is all about experimenting with new materials and shapes. I find inspiration in everything around me, from the patterns of leaves to the architecture of buildings. Inspired by my Asian roots, I incorporate unconventional items that can be found in Asian stores or ideas based on Buddhist philosophy of thought. Observing my surroundings helps me come up with fresh and exciting perspectives for each project, ensuring my designs are both striking and expressive.
What Do You Love About Competing?
Although I am new to the competition scene, I love competing because it makes me dig deep and challenges me mentally, emotionally, and physically. It pushes me to work through my inner critic and grow as a designer, making each experience both rewarding and transformative.
